Hi there guys,
I bought my 1st pede, scolopendra cingulata, and I have her for a week. I offer her a cricket everyday and she hasnt eaten yet, I am a bit worried at this point. How often is it ideal to feed her? I've been searching on the internet and I found lots of things about other centipedes, but not on this one. It seems to be an adult, its around 12 cm (5 inch). Temp is around 24C and I mist the enclosure every 3-4 days. She did burrow but after I gave her a piece of bark, she stopped doing that.
Thanks for replies, have a nice day.

Hi, great choice for a first centipede. Don't worry about a centipede not eating for a few weeks. If she's burrowing and moving around it sounds healthy enough. Temp is OK. I personally don't mist, I just keep the bottom of the substrate moist by pouring water in. These pedes live in pretty dry habitats (but still need moist spots!)
