I'm not too familiar with Scolopendra and I haven't kept up with all the new variants, locales, and species that have recently flooded the market. Having said that, are these S. hardwickei that you've managed to reproduce here?

Wow, so it is S. hardwickei. I had no idea that the banding fades (shows my knowledge of pedes lol). I just have to say this is absolutely AMAZING! How long has it been since they were even produced in the states?

i don’t think really anyone in the centipede keeping hobby has the red variant (obviously centipede keepers in india do but besides that)

They’ve come in before, but in less numbers than the east type. Last one I saw in circulation maybe 2 years ago?
