Super Great! Good ole Florida is still good for something, bugs!
I have never seen one around here (Melbourne/ Indialantic)
I remember bark scorpions from Homestead where I lived in the
early 1970s. I also remember land crabs jumping from behind
bushes and plants in South Florida. Enjoy your new critters.:D

I've got a ton more centipedes than usual including some new S. alternans from Florida and I am beginning to really appreciate the personality of this species in comparison.

Definitely have some personality, or... good instincts anyway. I have the Haitian type. I like to see them hunt. I throw the dirt-diving Surinam roach in with them and they go for it, miss it. But they know to stay still and feel for vibrations. Then they will guess where it might be feeling for movement and dirt dive for it:cool:.
