Ghost is going to a new home, so I had to pack her up along with another H lividum (not NEARLY as cooperative LOL) and some orange bitey things.
This girl has always been super mellow, I've never seen her defensive....hell, I never see her at all anyway ;)
She is quite the fat cobalt, is she not?!

here is the non-cooperative Medusa...
I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole .....well, I wouldn't touch her with a 6" wooden spoon again...she climbed up, and gnawed on it.
Luckily she didn't gnaw on my hand! Quite the opposite of Ghost, and not one to be messed with!

geo,
I was T sitting Medusa, and I'm sending Ghost because I have so many breeding projects right now, and she is not one of them.
I've got around 150-175 spiders, and am (possibly foolishly!!) thinking about pairing up my L parahybana. After Tony's brood of 2600 slings, I'm trying to get prepared!

Actually in this particular case, Tony counted each and every single one. He sort of had to because we ran a contest/quickie with Tony and his generosity allowed a few lucky members of this site able to win some free ones. :D

The actual arachnoquickie can be found in the contests/quickies/raffles forum on this site. :)

Awesome pics and beautiful T's, but God... I'd never, NEVER, hold one without welding gloves!! (The cobalts I mean)

Also, I have a question:

I know these have a nasty rep for attitude, but I've also heard they have "hot" venom. True or false?

Telson, I've heard the same, and don't want to find out :)
There is a bite report here:

it took WAY longer than a day LOL
I think it took a couple weeks.
He's a brave man...if I get a viable sac..I'll hold a different kind of contest...I don't really want to count that many :D

Nice pics,
I guess if I were ever to get an H lividum, I would hope it would be like Ghost. I'm sure you hate to get rid of her, but I'm sure she is going to a good home.

She's experienced, she's aware of the potential hazards, and from my own experience in dealing with her, she's not foolish. Since, as a rule, I do not handle my T's, the same picture with my hand or someone with little experience would invoke such a comment. Seeing as you've just come to the boards and know little about the old timers, I'll cut you a little slack. If your opinion is that potentially dangerous T's should not be held, then your point is made. If it is just to take a stab at Immortal Sin, you've come to the wrong house.
