I bought this as a female S. rubronitens. I've been waiting for her to molt for a while, she ripped up the molt so I can't be sure of sex, but man does 'she' look better!

As far as I know these have not yet been captive bred, I've only heard of one mature male mating with females in the U.S. So, maybe soon?!?!! I have an immature male I believe is in premolt, and a close friend of mine has another female; possibly in premolt....

Very nice i am waiting for my females to moult and my s/a male.

I do not know if these in the US shipment are the same as the ones i have collected but i also found a few spiderlings for my "red and black" sp

I am waiting for the Simons specimen to be sent to the BM from Paris, and after that i should have some idea what is what.
