Do large pedes create an underground burrow or hide? The limited
documentation I have describes a "brood chamber" and that's what
it looks like. The pede made it adjacent to the side of the tank
so I can at least see it in there. The part where it's head is, is raised
above the level of the rest of the substrate like a dome but that part
is not against the glass. This pede was fairly active and eating up to
a week ago when it buried itself. Shortly after that it excavated this burrow.:?
