It has to be a conspiracy on the part of my older Ts. As soon as they get large enough that I might attempt to sex them via molt, they munch 'em up like a handful of chips. Real nice, guys, real nice.

I hate when they do that. I always want to go in and grab the molt as soon as it's out, but obviously can't do that.

Mine prefer to hold their molts hostage in their hides, becoming defensive when I try to fish them out with the tongs. They'll actually molt, drag the exuvium into the pot/cork bark/what have you, and stand guard.

1 - Xenesthis Sp. "Blue" - now 3"+

Try and unroll them anyway. I've sexed some molts that looked like they've gone through the shredder.

In my smithi's younger days he would drag the exuvium into his hide, rip it to shreds, then several days later dump the bits and pieces outside the hide like he was taking out the trash (and I was the trash collector!)
