Rocking crickets

Whenever I plop a feeder cricket down into my inverts' enclosures, just before it gets plucked up by said invertebrate, it'll start to rock rapidly back and forth, as if to camouflage itself.

Has anyone seen this, and oftentimes the invert will suddenly lose interest in the rapidly rocking cricket?

Yeah, I've seen that a couple of times, very interesting behaviour. I wonder how the crix know they are in danger, must be buried somewhere in their instincts. Most of the time my T's will not touch the rocking crickets, but if they run away they are taken down.
Maybe the T thinks: "Hey, that crick rocks! Maybe I can hang out with it", and if they run away the T thinks: "He doesn't rock anymore, so better to stop it altogether"........
