roach ID?

This flew on my back porch here in c tx a few nights ago. I think I found one in w tx too and posted it a long time ago. I don't remember getting a positive ID on that one. Anybody know what species it is? It flies but I don't think it can climb smooth surfaces.

Looks pretty close to a Peppered Roach (Archimandrita tesselata) But compared to your finger, it looks too small to be one....

Its really pretty whatever it is!!

It looks like Arenivaga genitalis (desert cockroach). This is a flying insect about three quarters of an inch long, with a delicate pattern of brown on a tan background. The individuals that are seen happen all to be males that are nocturnal and very strongly attracted to lights. The females are completely wingless, more broadly oval and much shorter, perhaps half an inch.

I found a few in Austin many years ago when I drove out here hunting .... they are freakin' hard to find...great catch!
