Rhaphidophora hayi: Shingle Vine - Safe for T?

Someone gave me a shingle vine and I thought I would incorporate it into my T's enclosure. Although I've read that Rhaphidophora hayi is toxic for people, and I assume this could be harmful to my T as well? Most sources say its only if the plant is ingested, but I rather be safe than sorry.

It's not going to hurt your tarantula unless it has pesticides on it. Then all bets are off

I don't think it's going to hurt your T, but if you are still afraid, you can use ficus pumila or colombia to carpet the background. They have the same shape, but in a smaller form.
