Hi, i am currently looking for a black solifugid. I want one of the "bulldozer blacks" with the large abdomen and stout legs. I am aware that the sub family is rhagodidae and was wondering if rhagodes sp was another term for the black soli's in general or specific to the large dozer's?
... Also i read an old post on this forum or one similar debating whether or not solifugids require such a large amount of food. Some owners said this might speed up their metabolism and shorten their captive life even more (I have no experience with solifugids so i am on the fence.) If anyone has kept multiple soli's and varied their diet please feel free to shed some light.
