I wasn't sure if there already was a rehousing thread or not so there you go.

Great success!

Got my GBB, O philippinus, and O violaceopes rehoused. I will get better pics of enclosures soon. No issues with any of these pals. 20240511144313_IMG_4874.JPG 20240511153232_IMG_4876.JPG 20240425223929_IMG_4847~2.JPG

Top 2 sure seem like they need a rehouse now
I'll get better pics of the enclosures. O violaceopes is in there for a molt or two, just until my arboreal enclosures arrive but definitely has enough vertical space for now. The O philippinus has more than enough space for a few molts. Then they are going into the same size enclosure I put my GBB in for adult enclosure. My C cyaneopubescens, GBB, has been growing like a weed and seems to adjust better with old web material, I always move Bumblebee's main web mass when rehousing. I moved them into an adult enclosure, they are just under 4" so I think it is fine.

O violaceopes enclosure
4x4x8" for a freshly 1.8" spider
Only temporary until I can move my P cambridgei and give it's 6x6x8" enclosure to the O vio, just waiting for my P cam to harden up before rehousing.

Edit - the enclosure says H mac, Wisp. I just haven't removed the tape yet and felt too lazy to slap an O vio label just to remove it in a week or two.

O philippinus enclosure
8x8x8" for a 2.5" spider
Also just temporary until I finish up its new 8x8x12" setup. That will be today or tomorrow.

C cyaneopubescens enclosure
8x8x12" for a 4" spider
Probably won't move them until they hit 5-5.5" if they seem like they need it. Already webbing up nicely, nice work Bumblebee! 👍

It's going to get very busy the next few weeks.
