Hey guys. The time has come for me to continue on towards my Phd. When I start apply for grad school, I also need to take into consideration of local laws concerning venomous snakes for when/if I need to move out of Texas. So this question is for those living in other states. I've already looked up state laws regarding permit requirements that were updated as of March 2011 though I know some might have changed (Ohio for example). However, I know you guys know as well as I do that some states are very stingy with who they issue permits to simply because they don't want to or there are special categories (such as having to be a zoological facility) that must be met.
Do any of you have any experience with these states where they do issue permits but are reluctant to do so, have special requirements, or simply won't even though the system exists?
