I work at a pet store and my boss bought a red trapdoor spider. It is about 1-2 inches in LS. I googled it realy fast before I set it up in its house and saw it liked to burrow. It is In a delli cup that is about 5-6 inches across and has 2-3 inches of cypress bedding. I gave it a small lid for a watter dish and some fake leaves for it to hide in. Is this a good setup? Also, I have afew questions

-How big do they get
-What is their life span
-What is their heat/humidity requirements
-Are they defensive

Thanks!

What he said...

I recommend you get her off the cypress and onto some moist eco-earth (coco coir). They're pretty easy to care for as long as you keep your fingers away. Search this forum, there are plenty of in depth accounts of keeping these spiders.
