does anyone have any advice on keeping red baboons such as caresheets.

You can do a search on Google for Hysterocrates Gigas.
We keep ours moist, warm and with a deep substrate.

the size is about 2"1/2 inches.

Ah, my favorite species!
I keep mine in a deep substrate that is a mix of peat and potting soil with a layer of rehydrated sphagnum moss on top and pieces of cork so it can get up out of the damp and get dry if it wants to. (Thanks to Mr. Deranged for pointing out the potential for foot rot with this species)
Once they're large enough, I provide them with a bottle cap or other small water dish. Don't be surprised if they actually spend time hanging out in it.
I keep my entire t collection in one warmed room, so they stay in the mid-70s to mid-80s most of the time. I've bred this species in the past and they're pretty easy overall. Great display spider if you just like occasional displays of amazing hunting technique.
