Recluse Spiders and The Hobo Spider in North America

I just ordered this book from the ATS site and was wondering if anyone has read it. How in depth does it go with identification of different species of Loxosceles? Will it be possible to ID a spider using the species descriptions without going so far as a dissection? Being written in 1997, is the information still (mostly) valid?
