I use my T molts as supplies for art. Like 90% of the time when one of my Ts molt, they have already dried, making it close to impossible to maneuver any part of it without destroying it. Is there anyway to soften and make malleable the already hardened molts? All methods greatly welcomed!!

I use a bit of dishsoap and warm water when I am checking for their sex. I did this on my S.Cal molt to stretch it out as display too

Soap and water here too. I tried some WD-40 once figuring it might work since it was made to displace water but it didn't do so well.

Awesome, is there a particular ratio? I’m looking to make the hardened legs malleable, I’m not checking for sex (usually)?

Warm water and a little soap.
Or...
A little bit of soap mixed with warm water.
Both work really well.
Just a few drops of dish soap in a bowl of water.
Soak the molt for ten to fifteen minutes and it can be positioned and dried.

What are you making?

I use about 3 drops of dish soap in a 5 oz deli cup of warm water for slings

The curiosity is killing me!
Would you mind sharing some of your art?
My imagination is all over the place trying to picture what you're doing.
Sounds really cool.
