I was wondering, with near parellel lifespans of both sexes, if left alone, will siblings of scorpions generally breed? Obviously it wouldn't be too wise, but what does nature do in this case?

Bill,

My random answer is: 37 Horses

My more directed answer is: yes, siblings can, and likely do, mate. Inbreeding, however, is not necessarily as bad as people think. In fact, there are many populations of various life forms that inbreed regularily and still do just fine.

Cheers,
