Wow!!! Talk about a loooooong gestation!!! She finally dropped and now this is my 3rd batch of this species. So the future is really looking good for this cool scorpion in the hobby.
She was mated last October btw

I've got some of these en route to my house, could you post a little more details about the breeding? how many broods? how long before the first brood/between broods? thanks!

I wrote an article about breeding and husbandry about this sp in Invertebrates Magazine. I can tell you though that in the case of my 1st female that it took about 3 1/2-4 months between 1st and 2nd batches. Since this female had a much longer gestation it will be interesting to see if she has a long wait before the next brood. Time will tell.
BTW, husbandry and breeding is nearly identical to C gracilis (hint hint)
