If a MM tarantula drums but the female didnt respond. But they ended up mating like just 6-9 seconds. Is that succesful? I had a golden knee female and MM. My male approached the female and suddenly the female tried to attack the male but them male manage to hook the fangs. And was doing the mating position for like 5-9 seconds or so... but i didnt see the male tapping on the female's abdomen. But his pedipalps are there. Near the opening of the female

If you saw an insertion it happened. If you didnt see it then I wouldnt expect anything. Not all pairings are successful. You may want to try again in a few days.
