Galo's post made me go back to check on a guy that had an odd look to him...he's a scolopendra subspinipes "de hanni" with quite the bright red to him NOW he originally had a greenish/ pale green color to him...he seems to have a line running down his back as well now...i have seen many molt pics but was curious if this is something that is normal or i should keep the camera handy...let me know

diff species have "sutures" on their tergites. it is actually a species diagnostic, sometimes

was the q about that or the colors?

immediately pre- and post-ceding a molt most pedes colors shift wildly

the colors changed from a pale greenish to a bright red...but there is no molt in the tank and no smaller pieces from him munching on it either...so i wasn't sure if that was typical for the molt to go clear or something prior...needless to say this is my first molt...i know it has happened other time i just have never gotten to see it
