has anyone ever heard off or seen a male tarantula ever kill and consume the female tarantula during breeding?(same sp. of cousre) this is something i've often wondered if it is possible, or is it just against their nature? just imagine how much that would suck,lol comments appreciated--Jeff

I don't think the male would if he was mature, they are so focused on breeding that killing the female would be counter productive.

I aggree with the last post as long as the male is mature there would be almost no way he would eat the female. that would make mating usless
