Question for record keeping vagans owners

I have a little Vagans sling 1/8 inch

I know it'll take FOREVER to grow. Would someone supply me with their molting records for the 1st year to 18 months ( dates and size increase )PLEASE ! Just so I can have a feeling for what I'm in store for.

I KNOW THERE ARE VARIABLES so please don't give me the old : food + temp = indeterminite answer. ( sorry if that sounded snarky )

b.vagans arent as slow as most of the other brachys.id say in a year or two u will have a good sized juvie.if its a male mabey even up to 2-3" in that time.again it all depends on how much u feed and temps ect..

The vagans I use to have went from .75" to 3" in 9 months.
Here are the molt dates:
purchased: 9-28-05 .75"
1st molt: 11-12-05 .75" to 1.25"
2nd molt: 1-6-06 1.25" to 1.5"
3rd molt: 3-18-06 1.5" to 1.75"
4th molt: 5-14-06 1.75" to 2.5"
5th molt: 6-22-06 2.5" to 3"
Sold: 8-18-06?

Some molt growths were big others not so big.

Damn!! thats quick, one of my 2 vagans (male ) took 12 years to mature, talk about a difference in growth rates.

Wow, what were your temps and feeding like?

Not sure the exact dates, but from last summer to now. Here is a shot of the skins.

It's just a little over 2 1/2" now.

Average diet of gutloaded crickets.

I kept them in a room that in summer was in the 80's F & winter lower 60's F they were fed every few weeks or every 2 months, so less than they normally would feed in captivity.

12 years? man, thats slow. I guess its the slowest of all I ever heard about

as long as you weren't waiting for a male to mate its not that bad. You could enjoy your male for a much longer time now.... My vagans is a slow grower, I don't keep records. It's an adult female.

I can't find all of my records, but here is what I have. Mine is a female and I got her in December of 05, at the time she was a 1/2 inch sling. She is now 3 3/4 inches, I couldn't find size increases but here is a section of moult dates.

She has always been a great eater and actually she grew pretty fast, I think you can see frm the section of moult dates that she was moulting every two to three months with visible size increase every time. Don't worry to much, neither vagans or albopilosum grow as slowly as some of the rest of the brachys.
