Hi ,

Two of mine ( I have six females ) are showing bald spots as well . I tend to hope that it is related to an upcoming moult or just abrasions from their digging activities . As I keep them quite moist , I can't imagine that it could be due to dehydration . Will have to see .

some of the digging species i've kept got small bald spots on their butts and even legs frpm digging, so as long as it's not a fungus (and that's quite easy to see) it should be fine.

i wouldnt worry. could be pre-molt. could be stress from shipping, gods only know what else. as long as shes eating, drinking, burrowing, then youre in good shape! :D
