Question about substrate

Hey all, I have an a. chalcodes & I think I need to add more substrate to the enclosure.

My question is, is there a preferred way of doing this? She's currently webbed up a nice area on the current substrate, I don't really want to move or alter this, but not sure if I should add in small patches / groups at a time or simply do a single time throughout in the enclosure.

I purchased more coco fiber (and I'm letting it set out for the day, so it will be completely dry when I put it in the enclosure)

I always just added it in wherever the tarantula wasn't occupying and then working my way around the container
