Hy all! :worship:
So, my adult Acanthoscuria geniculata female molted 3 days ago...
She is such a beauty ...big and sexy, waiting for her mate to mature..
She molted all right ,no particulary problems, except the fact that her exuvium , I picked it up right away and it was ....wet. I mean wet-wet, no blood, a clear liquid onlly.
Now , after 3 days she is laying on the substrate , with her legs spread .
Just like as if she was....tired and sleeping with legs wide spread .
I took a picture but it kinda not clear. I didn't want to disturb her.
So, it is normal??

yes this is normal she is just resting, molting take a lot out of them so they have to rest for a couple of days.

They stretch themselves out like that after a molt; and yes, she is probably "resting". Molting is believed to be very strenuous for them. Best of luck to her.

So is the wet... the exuvia are very moist after the moult. Most don't get the exuvia so quickly, and it's dried up by that time.

The T is stretching to its maximum because its skin is soft and new. Leave it alone. Don't feed for a few days. It'll be fine. Goregous T by the way.
