Hello from CT. I was bitten on the eyelid while sleeping by something the doctors said it was a spider bite. The scars are still there after more than a month, is possible it was not a spider? I found these two spiders under my bed. Thank you for your help.

Doctors are notorious for diagnosing random skin lesions as spider bites. The truth is that spider bites are rare. Spiders rarely bite sleeping people, especially in places like the face. If you found a spider in bed with you that would make it more likely, otherwise you should consider something else.

@Vianella Bradshaw Two suggestions. Get a competent dermatologist's impressions of that condition and do a general self assessment of conditions that could contribute to a slow healing process (like blood sugar count, poor diet etc.) This is really just common sense. Medical sleuthing to eliminate other possibilities since they are much more common than spider bites.
