Just out of curiosity...if a tarantula has been used to eating crickets for a long time, will it "adapt" to other food items such as mealworms or roaches? To this day all my T's but my rosea will accept roaches but the rosea won't even touch them.

They can, all my t's had been fed crickets till I switched them to roaches. Including an A.chalcodes female that was 4" when I got her, so even though they've been fed crickets for years it's possible to switch most of them over

They'll eat when their hungry. No tarantulas gonna starve its self because it doesn't like that bug. Also I know this sounds a bit crazy but I have noticed that after a tarantula eats something once it will eat it again.
