I know there is an ID thread but I want more than one picture together, and in a thread discussion.

So anyways, now I have some clear pics.

Again, it has a balck underside adn spinnerets.

That's a Paraphysa scrofa - Chilean Copper. You can tell by the crescent shaped mirror patch & the "wavier" setae on the abdomen.

Hey thanks, It does look like this picture I found of P. scrofa.

But mine is more beat up and dull looking, I read they max out around 3" so mine is a mature one. Does the lack of vibrant colors mean it might die soon?

Yup, definately Paraphysa scrofa. Congrats, seems like everyone is picking these up lately.

Yeah, around 3 to 3.5" is when the females max out. I've read about people saying 4" P.scrofas, but I have yet to see one. I think they may be mistaking it for a G.rosea RCF.

The dull coloring means it has been stressed, banged up alot, and hasn't molted for awhile. All it really needs is a molt and it'll look brand new.
