My pumpkin patch sling ( 1/2 inch) was sitting in its hide for weeks without coming out to eat or drink. Now, after my pumpkin patch came out, it has only eaten once and never comes out of its hide. Now, it has changed the area in which it hides in, so i can see him all the time and i am wondering is it stressed or is there anything that i can do if it is?

If you were a half inch tall, you'd be hiding a lot too.
Young spiders know how the world works.
The little guy gets picked on.

Slings are incredibly vulnerable and they know it. When your spider gains some size, chances are you'll see more of it.
