One of my Poecilotheria pederseni dropped an odd shaped eggsac. I guess she preferred the hotdog shaped eggsac as compared to the nice ball shaped eggsac she did earlier this year. Anyway, at day 20 or 21 (I’d have to check my records) I took it. It was quite nice looking if I say so myself.
Now the I. hirsutum didn’t do so well. Last year she ate her eggsac when she was in my buddy’s collection. I purchased her from him and this year she didn’t eat it……she just sat there for three weeks guarding the marble sized package. When I took it from her she gave more of a fight than most my pokies…..but it was in vain. The eggsac was a dud.
