alright.. I have a female "Captain Happy" that I got fromt he local petstore a while back.. now she is fat and happy and about 5" LS now the owner called me and the other one they had int here molted out into an ultimate male last night. would she be mature enough to breed? and since she seems to be close to molting would it just be wasted and then have to be retried? (I dont care I will keep trying) thanks for any input!

She is breedable at that size. I personally have mated females that where 3.5" with no problems just small sac sizes. I personally introduce the male and leave him in with her until she lays an eggsac. Pternonochilus murinus IME are very tolerant of their mates until a sac is made.

3 spiderlings and a bunch of dead eggs. Now who is the fool that told me these were easy to breed? LOL :D

Actually they are supposed to be easy to breed, dont know what happened with mine. That attempt has seemed to have jinxed my last 3 attempts though. Perhaps I should stick with scorpions?
