Concentrate on the egg in the middle, offset to the left. You can see all 8 legs developing !

Congrats on the sac.

Maybe I'm just blind because I can't see any development. But that's not to say they aren't good, it's just that I don't see it. :p

Okay well if and when she gives me slings, I'll be sure not to sell you any :p

I think I see some legs in the 2nd pic, but the first one is just looks like crusties on the outside of the egg :p

thanks man, I appreciate it.

I'll get better photos once they all turn into eggs with legs and I can sort out the molt skin.

Only 5 or so are still eggs, although 2 are just popping right now. How much variation can I expect? They are all kept at the same temperatures. One egg doesn't seem to be fertilized at all, should i put it in the middle of the group? Hopefully one lucky spider will reabsorb it.

Does anyone have any idea on how I can reduce the mortality rate once they hit second instars?

I have been thinking of lowering the temperature to 73 (23 C) degrees, from 79 (26 C) because i know robC kept his temperatures at 81-82 (27-28 C) and he had significant die offs.

Im willing to say that in their natural environment, Alongside their mother in trees(possibly in the crevice of a tree) they would be residing in an ideal microniche. whereby the tree provides a temperature buffer (due to evapotranspiration/shading)

I pose the question. Could such a change in temperature give these slings a better chance? The only fact for sure is that their metabolism would slow (albeit a small change) as a direct relation to their environmental change.

This is all IMO...

thanks in advance
