Hello. I've been messing around with some of my empty enclosures I've got in prep for the arrival of more tarantulas and thought a couple of my small cubed enclosures could work quite well for young Psalmopoeous. I've set them up with a couple inches of substrate, water bowl, some cork bark and plants. Here are the pictures:

I think it’d be better if you slanted the corkbark against the side of the enclosure. I have three from this genus and they all used the corkbark to make dirt curtains. They ignored the fake plants.

Cork bark tilted against the wall and plants surrounding the base would be more ideal. They want a sense of security and coverage. They’ll incorporate dirt curtains and build multiple entry/exit points from their home base.

My juvenile enclosure. The other ones I have are all slings. I’ve had zero issues with defensiveness or bolting in this setup for my P. irmania; plenty of spots to retreat to.

Looks fine to me. Substrate, water dish, anchor points, ventilation. The spider will settle in however it likes, often ignoring obvious hides we create. I just wonder how well that dish holds water, I've had a few like that with slow leaks

Thanks everyone. I'll try to break some nice pieces of cork to set up at an angle/against the sides.
