very nice very nice ...

How many does this make now? How big is it?
I have an order in with Bryan for a giant white knee...
I justified it by cleaning my room...there's enough room for one more now...who needs knicknacks anyhow?

James,
As soon as I saw this T, I was thinking about you. LOL
I knew you love these guys.
I'd like to try to breed them. Once she matures, I'll start looking for a male.
Thanks for asking.

Let me count, hang on a sec. I'm back, the new count is 119.
I thought I had more than that. 75 of them are G. rosea slings.

A. geniculata is one of my faves. They grow super fast, and eat like pigs.
Whats a knicknack? Is that something you keep spiders in? LOL

Those pics did it.......

I always knew chevrons were cool but those pics made me officially add them to my wish list. Luckily the pet stores around here don't keep all of these spiders 'cause I would be in trouble and in debt .

I know what you mean. Seems like I buy a T a week.

I never even concidered a P. cambridgei before I saw this one.
It came for a personal collection. I just happened to be in the store when it was brought in. It was in its display case for 2 mins. when I bought it. I'm glad I did..:)

One of my favorites as well! Thanks for the great pics Ernie! My chevron is about 6", female, and was purchased last may at 1" from Swifty. Was really calm......but now if you invade her space or move her, WATCH OUT! She definately holds her ground and takes no guff. It's a beautiful bronze/gold color on it's carapace. One of the most majestic animals I have ever seen! I think they are as beautiful as any tarantula. And when I see people post that they can handle anything, I would dare them to "attempt" to hold this spider! They would get bitten, ohh 8 or 9 times!! You gotta respect an animal that holds it ground like that; more guts than most people have. Most defensive/aggressive spider I have seen.:D
