Hi,

We have a Singapore Blue which is really protective over her egg sac. It has been about 32 days and when we tried to pull the egg sac last night, she just wouldn't let go!... We gave up!

Now, whenever she felt any disturbance, she went back to cling on to her egg sac!...

Any ideas how to get the egg sac from her? thanks

Lay the soft bristle end of an artist's paintbrush in her mouth while taking hold of the eggsac webbing with your tongs. Let her attack the brush while you pull the sac. It may take two people, each with a tong and paintbrush before you untangle her legs from the sac and remove. But trust me. You'd rather go through this and get the sac pulled, then have to wrangle a hundred or so slings out of mom's enclosure. Be patient, careful and persistent, and let us know how it goes!

Congrats on the sac!
