I prefer to play it safe and not use tape on the insides of enclosures.

@Disboard The best thing to do if you are not a handyman (I also am not) is have the pexi glass cut to size professionally. You can then hot glue it and drill the holes like others have said. This ensures it is cut to proper size and does not leave any gaps when it is permanently attached to the frame of the (former) mesh lid.

A T could chew through a metal mesh screen easier than thin plastic strips coated with adhesive? Really? Do buy too much into the Gorilla hype. It's good tape but it's still tape. :D

I'd go with the Plexiglas option myself. I personally don't like the screen tops and it's easy enough for me to make that change.
