Found these two fat, juicy larvae in a rotting oak log today. Any idea on what species they are? I live in CT. Also, should I keep them in this log or transport them into an enclosure filled with rotting wood?

These things are everywhere inside logs here. Stand still beside one of the logs, and you can literally hear them crunching away at the wood.

That's rad! I really hope they could be Asian long-horned beetles but if not, they will definitely be something big like Orthosoma brunneum. As soon as I saw them, it reminded me of this video.
