Good evening again!

I got a smithi juv wich is about 2inch between legs. Lately it has started acting strange. It just lays there, in the middle of the cage and does not move. I saw this yestoday, and before that it had spent like 2 days under the cork with both entrances coverd with dirt.
It has also lost a lot of hair on the abdomen, and that spot is pink.

Do you think it is pre molt or anything else?

Thanks!

You will know that they are really in premoult when the bare pink spot turns dark. Depending on where you are, your T could just be slowing down a little due to the cold.
And you may just have a calmer smithi. They don't move around all of the time.

Don't mist the cage, as far as I know these are dry-loving Ts.

And what do you expect? Tarantulas NEVER MOVE if they can help it. If it's not moving, it's happy and healthy and you're doing it right.
