Pre-Molt?

Hello arachnopeople! New years, I got a .5" Acanthoscurria geniculata sling and have been feeding it pre killed crickets. He/she has only eaten one or two live ones since they're still kinda bigger than it. Last Thursday was the last time it's ate. I know they refuse food in pre molt but isn't this gonna starve it? Or can slings go pretty long without food. It walks around just not anywhere near its food.

dont worry, tarantulas, even when young, can go for extremely long periods without food. a week is nothing. premolt for a 1/2" A genic might be around a month.

I have a 3/4 inch b. Smithi sling that hasnt eaten since october. At this point i don't thing these critters can starve lol.
