My GBB ( was 2.5 inches ) molted on saturday ( 2 days ago ) I can barely see it in its hide. I'm worried it's not OK. It has changed positions many times in the last 2 days, but I thought he'd come out for a stretch by now

Should I be worried ?

depends...my A. huriana spent over a month in it's tube web after it's last molt. When it came out I discovered he was 6" :D But there wasn't enough room in his web to stretch out...didn't seem to have any negative effect on him though.

Same with my A. braunshauseni...but it's 4.5" or so, stayed in it's tube web for a month afterwards or so.

Unfortunately i don't recall any of my GBB molts specifically. I'd say just leave it alone for a couple weeks. If it has a problem from the molt, at this point there is nothing you can do for it. Best to just let it be.

My GBB girl is almost never seen for a very long time before or after a molt, no problems yet. If they need to stretch in something roomier than their hide/web, they'll know, don't worry. :)

Mine almost never emerges again until she's ready to eat.
