So, not really sure how to start this, but; My Psalmopoeus pulcher sling molted about 3 days ago and everything seemingly went well. No obvious damage to any of the limbs, no odd behavior, nothing. It finally came out of its hide last night and was acting completely normal while walking around a bit. Today I got home and it’s in what seems to be a death curl on its back? I did not disturb it whatsoever during or after its molt, and it has/had an adequate amount of water and moisture so it’s not dehydration. Not really sure what to make of this situation, I haven’t disturbed it yet on the off chance it’s somehow molting again(?) but I’ve never heard of anything like that, however I’ve never heard of a T going into a death curl on its back either. Any insight appreciated

Are you sure it molted the first time? There are times T’s have flipped like they were going to molt only to flip back and do it again another day. Also, if something internal went wrong it may be trying to molt again to fix it (not possible this soon). Can u post pics?

It’s been over 6 hours at this point, a sling its size would have molted by now. I’m going to leave it in there overnight but I’m not very hopeful. I appreciate those of you who took the time to reply.

Seems like it might have been dehydration.
Hoping for Pulcher Spiderling to pull through Okay.

Have you tried a drop of water on its mouthparts? I see you said not dehydration, but that’s really about all you can do. I’m sorry. :-(

Without pictures its very hard to say anything logical.

we need to see what we are dealing with.
