Thanks in advance for any help. I haven't posted here for a few years.
I have an adult female B. hamorii who last Moulted 03 August 2023 and has recently (last few weeks or so) started developing a strange pale mark on one of her chelicerae, I haven't come across or noticed this before in my time in the hobby.
Her enclosure is 30x30x20cm eurostyle enclosure, kept between 22-26c with a dry* coir/leaf mould substrate mix.
*I did notice the humidity was hovering around the 70-80% mark due to a leaking water bowl that saturated the substrate underneath. This was corrected In the last week and humidity is now around 50-60%. I try not to worry too much about humidity but I'm concerned this could be mycosis.
The female in question has eaten prekilled black crickets since developing this mark (she has never seemed to like catching black crickets, only brown).
No other abnormalities can be seen on her. Is this something to be concerned about or is it just 'wear and tear'? Pictures are attached for reference.
Again, any help much appreciated.
