i would hazard a guess as female/male but i'm not too up to speed on pokies and they're still pretty young:}
Yup that's what I thought as well skippy, thanks. Hopefully we're right. I can't wait to start churning out my own egg sacs.i would hazard a guess as female/male but i'm not too up to speed on pokies and they're still pretty young:}
I just let them loose on the floor, and gently flip them over in the opposite direction of wherever they are running. Sometimes they get up right away, but usually once they get on their backs they remain in that position for 20 seconds or so, and I get ample time to snap a shot. It's surely a little stressful though, so I always make it a quick affair.well, you got 10 of them right? you should have a pretty good chance of a few of each![]()
on a side note: how do you get them to lay on their back like that?
LOL!if i let mine loose on the floor one of my chihuahuas or my heeler would see it moving and pounce on itthey don't like little things moving in their area! you should see them go after moths and flies...
anyway, it always gets you good ventral shots. i have to settle for waiting for an intact molt:}
