Today I recieved my order of 4 tarantulas. I opened up the packaging and to my surprise I had 20 tarantulas!

I ordered:

G.aureostriata 1/4"
L.striatus 2" (imported from Germany and sexed female)
L.parahybana 1.5" female
A.versicolor 1/4"

I got(plus the above)

12 A.seemanni slings
3 G.rosea slings
1 A.avicularia sling

Here is the L.striatus: do you think this deli cup is too small for it?

Hmm, someones gonna be upset when they realize that mistake. Have you got ahold of the person you bought them from yet?

The ones you were supposed to get are nice looking T's though, good luck with them.

Spider Twin, there was no mistake, he is just very generous. I have already talked to him and everything and thanked him profusely.

I got them from Martin Gamache out of Quebec. Great prices and he deals more with the rare species.

Bjorgly: Before emailing these people the lists make sure it is ok with Martin. I know that he is not selling to just everyone.

about to place an order here...

I'm most likely to order from exopets when I make my final decisions on what I'm getting, cause from what I've seen they have most of the species I want and only some of them are a little higher priced than elsewhere, but if anyone has a suggestion or knows of some specials going on regarding price or availibility, PLEASE send me a PM.

I just really wish I could find one store that has all the species I want to get so I wouldn't have to split the order and pay shipping from two or three places! That's another $25 or $50 I COULD be spending on the T's themselves.:8o

re placing an order

Before I placed my order I decided what I wanted then looked for the vendors which had all of what I want, which meant waiting, a month of so, I know bummer. Some vendors might give a "rain check" of sorts, meaning to prepay for the item, then when in stock they'll ship it. or they'll hold the whole order until the item you want is in stock, then ship all at once. But you'll have to e-mail them on this policy. hope this helps

also

which ones are you looking for?
If you are close to Novato up by San Fran, Invertepet will some times let you pick them up, from what I have read on the dealers page..
