Somethings wrong with my baby :(.

I have a 13 year old chilean rose hair tarantula called Brody.

SHes been in a semi-curl the past few days and I've tried everything to help her out. ICU, dripping water into her mouth, leaving her alone..I'm at a loss.

Just this morning I noticed that her spinnerets were weird.

She looks like she has two sets..one set..her "normal" set, one of them is doing what it usually does and sitting upright, the other is just hanging limp and its been that way since this morning. She then has what looks like ANOTHER set of spinnerets on her abdomen..just below her "normal" set..I'm thinking this may b a result of a botched molt? She also appears to have soiled herself :/

I took a few photos but unfortunately none of the double spinnerets as it was too dark and I didn't want to stress the girl out too much.

Sorry for coming on with such a big issue for my first post but I am pulling my hair out here I just dunno what to do with my baby.

Tarantulas do have two pair of spinnerets. Any chance she could have fallen and injured herself? What does she normally eat? When did she eat last?

Nah its not a fall injury T blood looks yellowish/blue. 13 years you say? how do you know that? did you actually have her for 13 years? If so she may be much older than that and might just be getting old. You can clean the poo off of her posterior with some glycerin and a q-tip. Keep her hydrated and make her comfortable(reduce stress etc).

No vets here unfortunately. Might try the reptile shop though if things aren't better tomorrow.

She's currently in icu. Her spinnerets are both limp now.

I've cleaned her bottom as best I can and am giving her regular water.

Any more I can do :/?

Just a funny way to state it.... I usually associate that term with pants-wearing individuals.

Unfortunately, it is no way amusing to the (distressed) owner of the tarantula.

To the OP, I think it might just be her time, especially if you got her as an adult or subadult.

I'm really sorry :( Just know that at least you gave her a great life. I'm sure she was a very happy tarantula <3

Thanks.
:)

She's all buried in a nice plant pot now. Didn't want to bury her anywhere because we are in student flats atm and we wont be here forever.
