Can someone please ID the slings I bought. They are about 1". The store ddnt know what they were and they sold me them for $20 each. I was told they were LP's, but they weren't sure. I can only put a description right now, but I will post pictures tonight when I can. Description: brown carapace, black abdomen, first segment of the legs are black and the other segments are brown, and they have brownish/pink hairs, or really light brown. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Without pics it won't really be possible to ID them.

Once you post the pics, I'm sure more people will be able to help.

I doubt you are going to get any help IDing them at 1''..
Why would you second guess them being an LP? Did you get them from a reputable breeder/seller?

I bought them from the Aquatic Critter in Nashville, TN. I saw that they had no labels on them and I asked what they were. He pulled them out and said that he didn't know what they were, but he thought they were LP's. But I will have pics up tonight.

$20 for an unidentified but likely LP 1" sling is pretty overpriced.

I almost wanna say it looks like a brachy.. Maybe!! Is there a chance you can get some clearer pictures?

*Edit* Looking at your pictures I would guess B. albopilosum.. But it is just a guess so I could be completely wrong!

i suggest possibly setting up a small lamp to get the picture and a 45-65 watt bulb. that helps :D

Yeah I'd bet money on the fact that it's a Brachypelma albopilosum.

Okay thanks guys, and since I'm imagining no one is 100% sure of the species, can you tell me what other sp. you think it might be.

looks like albopilosum to me as well. also, from the pics i would have to gauge those as closer to the 2" mark than 1". in which case it's a pretty good deal.

So im not trying to be a jerk but why did you put the sp in there? Do you normally put sp before all species names when you label Ts?

If you thinks its a albopilosum but not sure you label them as sp. Ex: Brachypelma sp. albopilosum

So if you u know the family but not witch specie they are labled like that
