I first thought this to be juvenile tailless whip scorpions.


Similar species (??, not sure), but unsharp picture. They like to hang out together, and I have found them twice sharing the habitat with one or two C. gracilis (scorpion)

Hi,
Can you post pics oft the eyes by the first specimine?
IMO it looks like Sicarius spec.

Agree, pics of the eyes would be nice.

Definately don´t agree on Sicarius. Body-leg proportions just don´t fit, underground the spider is on seems rather unlikely for Sicarius,too. Last, there´s no known Sicarius spec around in Mexico (see PLATNICK).

I am sorry, that's the only picture I got. From memory it was quite large, I guess the body alone was close to one inch.

And it was living under a big rock, the roots/ground is the underside of the rock.

The "spiders" in the last two pics are harvestmen. Lets see, I think I've got my handy little golden guide in here somewhere...

Oops. Guess I don't have it here. But the harvestmen are in there too.
