it really all depends on the size of the tarantula being put into it

the dimention of this tank is 55 37 30. would it allow a 2 inch T to espace? I am pretty confidence it wont let anything bigger than 4inch to escape?

1: What is the unit of meassurment you are using.(Centimeters, I guess)
2: how large is the T.
3:If the holes allow the carpace to fit, the T could scape.

yes I am talking about cms. its not the holes, its those gaps between lid and the box I am worrying about. can a 2inch T just sqeeze thru?

Is you tarantula a contortionist? Otherwise it's highly unlikely.

I would say that The T wont be getting out of that. Might be able to fit a part of a leg or two but thats about it i would think, unless the T shrinks lol.

As what Fran said, if the carapace of the T fits the hole (or gap as what your concern is really about) then there is a chance that it could escape....BUT in your case, if its a 2" tarantula (and especially if its a terrestrial or burrower), then IMO, the chances of escape is almost nil....

I know right gmrpnk21! I read to the end thinking I'd find out what was going in the bin but all we know is its 2". Heh, not really important but I'm curious.
