Pieces of a terracotta pot vs. cork bark

For species that require a slanted piece of wood to molt, would a curved piece of terracotta pot work instead?

As long as scorpions can hold onto it while they molt, I see no problem. In comparison with natural cork barks though, I’d assume terracotta pot seems much harder to hold on to.

i imagine this would depend on the species, but suspect it may prove too smooth to grip securely for most.
